I read the Palast article. Hmm...much as I like Obama, it's sad that sometimes he can't help playing to the gallery or going along with the herd. As in all democracies, Americans should perhaps not look for the 'perfect' candidate - but just go with the lesser of the evils. So far, Obama doesn't strike me as 'evil' - ignorant, perhaps, but not evil. One of the few people who seem to have a clear idea of what really goes on and is not afraid to speak his mind is Ron Paul. Makes me wonder how much is really going to change, post-2008.
